Something Funky

"Mum - you can't write "funky". You dont say "funky". Please tell me that you dont say "funky"."
It is funny how I was able to coast along for the first 40 years of my life saying whatever words came to mind....then I had teenagers! So I am rebelling! I think that this card looks FUNKY. I think that the Kenny K image is FUNKY. I think that the colours and design of these papers make this card look FUNKY.  And I am going to enter my FUNKY card in  the following challenges:
Kenny K #33 All about "R's" (ribbon and rhinestones)
CES challenge #24 Spots and Stripes
Stamp Something - Something Funky
Stamps R Us #15 For the Girls
Delightful Challenges Use your scraps
Southern Girls #13 Ohhh Brad
Totally Papercraft #54 Do it with digi's
Card Makin Mamas #15 Happy Birthday
It's okay kids, I doubt that I will ever have to use that word again. Unless of course I see some really funky apples at the supermarket. LOL.

Ribbon heaven

Ros made Glenice a ribbon card holder.
Glenice showed me her ribbon card holder.
BIG mistake!
I really neeeeeded a ribbon card holder too.
So, I made ME a ribbon card holder.
Then, my gorgeous daughter folded and added all my ribbons (okay, perhaps not 'all' just yet).
So, if YOU want a ribbon card holder all you need is:
some medium weight card, some elastic, a sewing maching and a 15 year old who is tired of doing homework. Easy!

A little bit dotty.

I girl friend of mine turned 21 the other day. Funny tho' cause I am sure that she turned 21 last year. Even the year before that, I think that she was 21 then too. It is just amazing how I have so many 21 year old friends. I thought that this card would be perfect for her. Could it be me who is going a bit "dotty"?
Warning to all my friends: Do NOT try this hip swinging, arms swaying move at home - just in case you put your back out :-) Love you all!
I am entering this card into the Kenny K challenge #32 Circles

A Valentines dilemma

So what sort of a card do you give your partner for Valentines day? I have a cute Magnolia stamp holding a heart - another image blowing hearts - some sweet mice floating with heart balloons and a gorgeous teddy hugging his heart. Funnily enough, none of these images seemed to say "that would really suit your 48 year old policeman partner". What a dilemma! So, my solution -  I bought the chocolates, he booked the restaurant and this card is for all of you. Have a very happy Valentines day and I hope the chocolate fairy comes to visit.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
CES #22 Red and Romance
Cupcake Craft #128 Seeing Red
Cupcake Inspiration #97 Photo inspiration
Stamptacular #97 Hearts gone wild
Craft your days away #13 Photo inspiration
Totally Papercraft #53 Clean and Simple

Stamp with Fun #97 Love

Love is in the Air

I recently bought a few images from 'My Favourite Things' Pure Innocence. Well, six images actually - that is a few isn't it? It is according to my definition of the word. How many chocolates did you eat? Just a few. How many friends are coming over? Just a few. How many ribbons have you bought lately? Just a few. I looked up the meaning of the word "few" in the dictionary and it says - not many, some, not none.  I like that - "not none". I figure that can mean anywhere from one to about 100. So next time I order goodies and have a parcel delivered and my partner says - How many things have you got in that bag - I will honestly reply:
"Not many - just a few". LOL
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Craft us Crazy #1 Anything Goes (Yes it's their first challenge -
Check it out!)

CES #21 Bold and Bright
Stamptacular  #96 Whateva!
Bizzy Becs Creatalicious #18 Love and Ribbon

Craft your days away #12 Love
